Church Renovations and Improvements
 Recent Renovations/Improvements at St John's

St John's has been blessed by God through it's members in multiple ways to allow several, recent renovations and improvement projects to our buildings and grounds.  We hope these renovations and improvements allow us to better serve our members and the community in sharing God's message.

In Malachi 3:10, God says: Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse that there may be food in my house. Test me in this says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.  Often in the bible, God tells us NOT to test him.  But here, in our giving back  to God, he not only tells us to put him to the test--but he also tells us he will return that blessing to us in such a huge way as to overflow us.

Our members at St. John's have certainly put God to the test in their managing God's wealth and giving back to God.  Here are a couple of those ways in which God has poured out and overflowed His blessings on St John's:

Through a member fund raising campaign, St John's was able to share in God's wealth with:  our WELS Synod Missions, Shoreland and Wisconsin Lutheran High Schools, Debt repayment and these building projects at St. John's (see photos)--Boiler Room, Kitchen renovation, Sanctuary remodel, Parsonage improvements.

Through ongoing member donations (mainly estate bequests), St. John's maintains a Planned Giving Fund (PGF) from these donations, investing the funds and also using the funds as member donors request on various needed renovations.  Some of the recent projects include:  Elevator, Playground Set, Exterior Digital Sign, Basement Flooring, Parking Lot and various Outreach Events like our August 2017 Car Show.
